…you heard the last from me…I'm back! Ha!
So, I'm sure you are wondering why I have this 4th of July table runner that I made a few years ago here on my blog on December 1st? Hmmm….. I blogged about it once here and probably somewhere else along the way. It's a fabulous little table runner. See how nicely it crinkled up once it was washed?
Yes…it is lovely in July, but you see, my middle name is "Procrastination". Yes it is and it really is not a complementary middle name to have at all, but I completely own it.
I have looked at this table runner over the months, mentioned that I probably should make an Autumn one, but did I…nope, no I didn't. I just kept looking at this cheerful summer table runner, even after it snowed and never batted an eye.

So today I finally shamed myself into putting something a little more seasonal on my island. See those lines…that is going to be my next challenge. Will I get it upstairs and iron it before the holidays….stay tuned. π
They are both pretty. What lines? π

I can’t tell summer from winter as they’re both beautiful!

Get out that iron and DO it. Love the summer quilted table runner best of all, you should make a Christmas-y one.

Love them both. Throw it in the dryer with a wet hand towel π Ironing would be quicker and safer though. I thought you had started a pretty Christmassy one??

Ha. Procrastination may be your middle name, but it’s my first name. I’m the one who had a quilt ready to have the binding cut and sewn on for 14 years before I finally did it.

I’m waiting with baited breath. The new runner is so appealing. Go Kim!
P.S. seems like we’re all claiming the name Procrastination!

Pretty table runners! It doesn’t matter what month it is! That reminds me, that I have been wanting to knit a table runner for the dining room table. Do you have any suggestions for a pattern?
Thanks!

I love the 4th of July table runner. It is finished which is more than I can say for a table runner I pieced last Thanksgiving for last Christmas. (It waits to be quilted.) Put a Christmas centerpiece in the middle and celebrate July in Christmas. I gave up ironing table linens and go for the shabby chic look. They are both lovely.

I never did get this table runner up to the ironing board, but the creases have smoothed themselves out. π
