Last Sunday, Ken and I headed down to attend the wedding of friends in Western Massachusetts. The wedding was a beautiful event full of fun, food, spirits and good music. We were happy to share our time with fellow knitting bloggers there as well.
The wedding also happened to be a stone's throw from WEBS Yarn Store. One of those knitting bloggers who was at the wedding is my good friend Carole. We convinced Dale and Ken that we really needed to go to WEBS the next morning after a leisurely breakfast. There was a sale going on…and well, there are no weaving stores in my area… just sayin' and I want to focus a little more on making time to spin and weave this year. They were good sports about hanging around a big yarn store with a LOT of shopping women. Thanks guys!
Carole was holding a pinkish color of yarn and I turned and said to her, "I'm not really much of a pink person".
Hmmm…….look what came home with me in addition to the Enchanted Knoll batt I bought last week. I guess I will be re-thinking my opinion of pink. 😉
I am beyond jealous–Webs, pink yarn and the two of you! My husband is equally tolerant–especially when I remind him of the amount of time I’ve spent in fly fishing stores!

Love both colors! WEBS is definitely an experience not to be missed if you’re in the area. So glad you had a great time!

Everything I bought was grey/black and everything you bought was pink. We were totally out of our norms!

That batt makes me want to spin! Love your choices, no surprise. Just hanging out in a yarn shop with you two would be heaven!

From a previous pink loather, I just want to say – your complexion is perfect for pink. Pink is really a great color for so many. I wish I hadn’t spent most of my life hissing when I saw it – LOL. Now that I’ve embraced it, I love wearing it. Also, why am I never around when you & Carole are together? It would be so fun!
