What a crazy few weeks of snow we have had here in the mountains. Two 12 inch storms and one 18 inch storm. Ey yi yi. The only blessing is that the temperatures have been fairly mild on the days it hasn't snowed, so it keeps melting fast.

I love how pretty it is right after a snow, but with the fast melting there has been a lot of snowy mud muck. There is still a good foot on the grass though and the days have been overcast and gray, which makes everyone a wee bit grumpy at times, myself included. Winters are long up here so we have to find ways to enjoy it, even if it is enjoying the beauty of the mountains in the snow, or sipping yummy ginger/licorice tea while knitting.
Ah winter!

Over the course of the week, I did finish all of the pieces to Folly Cove. Tonight I will steam and sew the sleeves in and hopefully finish the neck edge over the weekend. I loved knitting this sweater!
Have a warm and wonderful weekend!!
I can’t WAIT to see that sweater! Have a wonderful weekend Kim!

We still have quite a bit of snow, too. I wish it would melt but I dread the mud that comes with that! I can’t wait to see your finished Folly Cove!

We are watching our foot of snow melt away quickly, now that it’s decided to warm up. It’s been such a cold winter and I’m happy to see the sun! Looking forward to seeing you’re sweater!

Lovely sweater. Lovely snow shots. (Even though. . . I know. Enough.) But mostly. . . I’m dreaming of your awesome teapot!

Wow!! Your photos are just beautiful – and so enjoyed from far away here in Georgia 🙂
The teapot is also just beautiful – was that specially made for you? I’ve not ever seen one like it… and I watch for Rabbit items.
Enjoy your day and stay warm and dry!!

I’m really impressed with your productivity! And imagine, all that snow after I can’t use it. We got an INCH of rain with the last storm, would have translated to a foot or so of snow. We are sodden.

You steam your sleeves before setting them in? Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks!
