Here it is Thursday and I am just getting to the "big" weekend.
It's amazing how time flies, especially during these last whirlwind
days of senior year….it truly goes so fast.
Our day last Saturday started off with a trip to our favorite hair stylist, Andrea. Andrea has been taking care of our hair since Courtney was just a wee one. She does a fabulous job!
A few of Courtney's friends were there just before us, so it was an enjoyable "gab" fest for the girls and the grown-ups alike.
After the salon visit, it was a mad dash to pick up the flowers and grab her dress so Courtney could get ready at her friend's house. Heather was having a make-up artist there to pretty up all of the girls…so much fun for them! The guys joined them an hour later to get ready and then an hour after that it was time for the parents to come for snacks and pictures….and pictures there were for sure!
Pictures of the girls on the porch…..and…
Pictures with their dates….
Prom time here means trying to find a nice vehicle to drive up to the red carpet at the Mount Washington hotel….such a beautiful place for a prom.
Ok…so maybe the big "Harley" truck isn't what Courtney had in mind, especially since keeping her dress up while she jumped out was a challenge…LOL
Once inside it was pictures with best friends….
Pictures with couples…..
and more pictures of close friends…
…pictures of the handsome couple……
and if you ask Courtney if she had a good time…..
I think this picture says it all…..
Courtney….
these are the day's you will remember….enjoy each moment…..
love Mom.
Courtney is so beautiful and the dress compliments her perfectly. Love the way her dates vest is the same color! The whole event will be memorable for you all!

How nice Kim! We’re prom-ing on Sunday. The Mount Washington Hotel – it doesn’t get any better than that. I slammed Dan’s finger into the trunk of the car in the parking lot there when he was 6 – 13 years ago!

What beautiful photographs! The cameras now are SO MUCH better than what we had. Courtney is wearing my favorite color and it is pretty cool how her date’s vest matches. Love it! The place they had their prom looks just like the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Fun days!

Fun photos, Kim! Aren’t those new bracelet “thingies” a great improvement for wrist corsages? I’d not seen them until our daughter’s recent wedding. Love your DD’s dress!

What a wonderful post! We don’t ‘do’ proms in Australia. Well…not to the extent that Amercians do. I think I need to go and put a brick on Freya’s head to try and stall the growing she’s been doing. It feels like she’s rushing towards maturity and she’s only five!
