And So It Is Christmas……….

Did you have a nice Christmas?  We had one filled with family and friends…..and it was fun!  As much as I enjoyed Christmas when my children were young, I think I enjoy it even more now that they are older.  As the kids have gotten older, their relationships have becomes stronger…….it's fun to see them enjoying each other's company.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from last night and this morning…..

Nana and Hannah

Hannah giving her Nana a Santa Hug….

Stacey and Ashley

Sisters who now enjoy hugging a bit more than squabbling 🙂

McKayla and her American Girl Doll

McKayla with her American Girl Doll
(finally a girl who I can spoil with a doll!)

Miles and Jenny

Miles had fun this year playing Santa…..

………….and my most favorite picture of the day………..

Courtney and Hannah

It's a rare thing when you can completely surprise kids these days, but I think we succeeded this year 🙂

I hope that your day was filled with family, wonder and joy too!

  1. Merry Christmas, Kim, was Santa as good to you as he was good to your children? My 13 y.o. daughter wants to know what the “surprize” was that rocked your kids’ world. 🙂 She may be looking for ideas… 🙂

  2. Merry Christmas! Now, you can knit sweaters for that new American Girl doll like I do for my three nieces. This year they all got Green Bay Packers sweaters and the last one was being finished at noon today. I have to end this last minute thing. Enjoy your family time.

  3. I’m glad you had a nice Christmas. Ours was nice, too. I never even got out of my pajamas. 🙂 I enjoyed your pictures – especially the last one. 🙂

  4. The box is white under the wrap, could it be a rare Wii?
What was nice about our Christmas was the kids new exactly what they were getting and they were still excited to unwrap their gifts (& they’re 17!) and were appreciative.

  6. Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us. Those pics are fantastic! grin I’m looking forward to those years with older kids. grin Though this year I too gifted an American girl doll – to my daughter – complete surprise. Now we can play with our American girl dolls together (granted my Kirsten doll is 20 years old – but she still looks fantastic – think my hubby would say the same about me wink)Happy New Years!
