Let it Snow……………

Letitsnow

Back in November, just before Hannah's birthday party, I picked up this sign to put by our back door.  I'll admit, it's a bit tacky, but I just loved those happy snowmen faces. 🙂

After the 7 inches we received here on Friday and the 18 inches we are well on our way to getting today, Ken asked me if I would consider taking that sign down… 😉

  1. I don’t think it is tack at all. I love it, but I love snowmen usually. We have TONS of snow! It looks as if the kids will go back to school after a delay tomorrow, but there are plenty without electricity, STILL! Some schools are staying closed. I love winter.

  2. A good 2 feet of snow have fallen since Friday. The boys have a snow delay tomorrow. I like your sign despite everything. My Hubbie would have probably said the same thing-lol.

  3. I like the sign, and don’t think it is tacky. I also think Ken is guilty of magical thinking if he thinks taking the sign down is going to do anything. We are over two feet now.

  4. I agree with Margene – not tacky. (Although I can see where some might think it wasn’t funny…) Enjoy the snow anyway – we haven’t seen any in about four years.

  5. Not TACKY! (I have a similar one near our front door). We also have the ‘official snow meter’ yard stick with a snowman on top. Today is cold, but we got sooo much snow over the weekend, I thought i live in Conway!

  6. I don’t think it is tacky, I think it is fun. I used to have a stake that I put in the yard down here to “measure” the snow. Needless to say we don’t get much snow in the Charlotte area, my DH used to think that I was silly to put it out there.
I love to see the pictures, I actually miss the snow!

  7. Look at that snow! We’re in the middle of Summer here! It looks so foreign to me at the moment. It’s easy to forget that we have that on the cards for ourselves in the not too distant future – Jen
