We have had another beautiful Fall up here in the mountains!
So to celebrate what is left of Autumn, I will leave you with a few pictures of Courtney and her friends on a hike that they took last week on Black Cap

We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country, where our children can experience nature at her finest.

With Halloween over, it's hard to believe that we are now into November. Most of the leaves have come down off of the trees and there is definitely a winter chill in the air….brrrr. Perfect weather for a steamy cuppa tea and some woolen knitting. 🙂
Have a GREAT weekend!
It’s been a pretty fall here, too. I welcome the cooler temps!

Black Cap was a favorite when our kids were little, always hoping to get a glimpse of the cog railway chugging in the distance. I can’t remember a nicer autumn here either.

I do love this weather for just that reason. Hot tea is reassuring, warms the soul as well as the body. And what’s not to like about a lap full of wool that feels just right as we knit AND wear it?

Cute, Courtney. Give your mother a heart attack. We have a picture like that of Dan hanging off a cliff in Afghanistan. lol.
Waaaa… I wanna come home. It’s so beautiful.

The photo from the rocky point was great. I can imagine how good it must feel to be there in person. NH has some very interesting places.

I’ve lived in Maine for five years, and I’ve yet to see those mountains. I want to get over there! Thanks for the shots. I’m glad your children appreciate nature. That’s something they can enjoy, and it will nurture them their whole lives.

You’ve jumped in on the daily blogging bandwagon too? Yay!
The arctic chill has blown down here too. Sipping on my hot tea- cardamon and cinnamon-and Fickle Fingers wrapped around my neck. Yum.
