Isn't she lovely?  You have to know how very much I love this stole to allow pictures of …gulp…me.. in it.  I am a wee bit camera shy if you haven't noticed.

Ashley and Bee
I did manage to snap a picture of Ashley romping in the garden with Bee.  I love the way Bee gently wraps around her head….it is going to make a wonderful winter stole, don't  you think?

Bee and sunflower….and of course….every Bee loves a sunflower and this Bee is no exception!

I loved, loved, loved each and every stitch in this pattern.  There is such a wonderful rhythm that flows…almost meditative.

I am sad to see her come to an end, but the reward will be getting to wear her this fall.

Now that she is complete, I am looking forward to my next lace beginnings….I think I may just have a thing for these insect shawls. :)

Hannah and I are off for a drive thru the mountains to visit friends in Vermont.  I hope that you all have a wonderful day!

  1. Just read your ‘rain’ post! Its just like the UK! My tomatoes (indoors!) don’t even have a hint of red on them & the beans are either a)pathetic(runner) or b)slug food (french)! The courgettes/zuchinni are producing a glut though! The stole is awesome btw!

  5. Kim it looks LOVELY on you! Just gorgeous. I bought the pattern and yarn as a kit at the Fryeburg Fair last year. Will I have enough yardage? I really want to put it up closer in the queue now after seeing yours completed.
Will you be at the FF this year too? We just made our reservations at the inn and I sent in my entries so was hoping to see you and make some plans for the retreat in the spring?

  6. Ohhhh, just so beautiful! I love everything about it — the color (you knew that already, I bet!) and the non-triangleness of it!!! Well done!!!! XO

  7. Bee is incredibly beautiful and looks gorgeous on you! What an accomplishment and if I were you I would be hoping for cool weather soon so that I could wear it. Your lace yarn is so soft, I know it must feel luscious, too.
