This is what the beginning of spring in the mountains looks like. Winter still on top of our mountain and the waking trees down below. Soon those trees will be covered in buds….I can't wait for green again…..soon, very soon. 🙂

Those mountains are beautiful – snowy tops and all. Even out here in “sunny” California, we’ve had so much snow in the mountains that at least one ski resort (Mammoth Mountain) said they’ll stay open until the 4th of July! Can you imagine skiing to fireworks! How fantastic that would be.
