Passion is but a prelude to
Years of gradual unfolding…

It is with a very sad heart that I post of Miss Shelley's passing.
This little dog possessed an endearing sweet soul and a mischievous spirit. I will forever miss my dear companion, but I am thankful and blessed to have been able to spend almost 11 years with this sweet baby.
Cavaliers truly are the most delightful little dogs with such gentle little temperaments, but sadly the majority of them will succumb to heart diseases at some point in their lives and in the end it is how we lost Miss Shelley as well. 😦
Thankfully she had maintained very good health and quality of life until a week ago and only went downhill quickly yesterday…..for that I am grateful.
Sleep well my little angel….you will always own a piece of our hearts.
I will post Fitness Friday information over the weekend……
There is a new star in the sky…
You have my profound sympathy.

Oh Kim,
I just now read about Shelley’s passing and I have tears in my eyes. I am so very sorry and with my cavaliers approaching 11 yrs. old, I can but imagine the pain of loss………but I truly believe that because they are God’s creatures whom he has entrusted to us, that we will indeed see them once again, well and happy.
I want you to know that Sam is doing very well at 10 1/2 years of age and is still the sweetest dog in the whole world (well even the vets office thinks so……we’re not biased of course!)
We are taking Sam and Caroline to have senior checkups in two days. I am planning a big “birthday” bash for Caroline’s 11th on April 30th!
Best wishes,
Maureen

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Our dog is 9 – a husky mix we got from the pound 3 years ago. She adds so much to our family.
